Here is what is new and as always, you stay in full control of your data:

Broader AIS Coverage
Our expanded AIS network makes tracking friends on the globe faster and more accurate than ever! You can even follow boats that are not yet on Saillogger through AIS, although inviting them means both of you get richer data!

Richer Trip Details
Saillogger always beats raw AIS. When you follow another Saillogger user, you see their trip notes, photos, and stats, all automatically logged. Your friends decide what you see: if their profile is public you get the full story. If it is password-protected they can share that password with you, and they can switch back to private at any time.

Smart Arrival and Departure Alerts
Follow any boat to get instant alerts when it casts off or makes landfall, with more event types coming soon (so you can be the first one to see the fish they just landed!). You are always in control: toggle alerts in Notification Settings.

Follower Notifications
When someone follows you (your profile needs to be public) you receive a notification. If their profile is public you can follow them right back with a single tap!

See Who’s Aboard
Curious who is watching your adventures? View your followers on the Followers page.

Privacy Controls
It is your data and you are the skipper. By default your profile is private. You can

keep it private,

set a password and share it only with trusted crew, or

make it public so everyone can cheer you on.
Whatever you choose, you can change it at any time.

Need more details? Check the Support Page or reply here.

Follow your boating friends, set your profile the way you like, invite your crew, and start exploring. Your next great voyage is only a follow away!

Smooth boating and happy Saillogging,
