I noticed that starting with a trip last October, and again yesterday, that the granularity of position entries in a trip log are less dense and spread out than in the past. Time stamps look to be every 5 or so minutes.

My boat is a MV and I am tending to be cruising at 25+ MPH the majority of the time.

Is there a way to change the frequency and granularity of log entries? Or is this the result of something else?

    Thank you
    John

Hi John, thank you for bringing this to our attention. This was due to changes introduced for Plugin 4.0. We hadn’t realized that these changes would affect the experience for a fast boat like yours, so appreciate the note.

We have just deployed an update to improve the frequency and granularity of log entries for higher speeds. This change will be reflected in your next trip, and no action is needed from you. Please let us know how it works out the next time you are on the water!
