Ok, found it. I just pushed that in Server/Data Fiddler :
{"updates":[{"values":[{"path":"propulsion.port.temperature","value":0}]}]}
Then restart the Sailloger plugin. Wait a minutes, and now I can configure the path.

Sure it will work. But as I generally configure the sailloger app remotely, I can't start the engine from my house !
And when I'm on board, I usually forget to set it ! And of course, I often reboot the SignalK device just after sailling, before setting this damn path to Sailloger...

I will try to find a way to declare this path with a null value, just to set it in Sailloger. This could be a good workaround for my case. I'm pretty sure I can do it with Data Fiddler.

But is there a way to add a SignalK path, that is not currently existing? For example, the engine temperature path is created only when it's running. So I can select it in custom monitor page, or add it manually...

Maybe you can rely on this plugin, which already provides informations about boat state :
https://github.com/meri-imperiumi/signalk-autostate

You just have to get the "navigation.state" path to know if boat is motoring.

I did some more tests :

The blackwater tank is at 0%. But it is shown "-". Is that normal ?

And for starter battery, the graph seems to show it is almost discharged at 12.8v. What are the up and down limits of this graph?

First feedback : in the selection of path, it seems to be sorted by plugin name. It may be difficult to find the path you need. For example, in my configuration, the tanks.* (N2k source) paths are shown before electrical.* (Venus plugin)

For the GPX track, it's an export from TZ Iboat app. I'll send it by mail tonight. I also have other GPX files from my Yach Device router. I'll send it too when I get it.

But I'm sure I will have some trips where I'll have no log at all, whatever the reason (bug, electronic issue, small trip whithout powering on instrument, etc...). And I would love to track it, as I would do it in a real Logbook.

Of course, all informations would have to be entered manually, and automations will not work. Don't you think it's a real use case ?

Could it be possible to add an option to add a logbook entry manually ?

For example, I have a trip that has not be logged, because the SignalK system was down. I would like to add it to keep a log of it.

Another wishes would be to import gpx tracks for old trips which I still have from another application.

Hello, I have a sailboat, but I’m also interested on keeping history of some engine datas (hours, fuel level, temperature, etc…) and other N2k items (Fresh water levels, TWS, etc…)
So this feature would be great.
