Vanemar has a very pretty monitoring interface, with buttons. Maybe consider creating a comparable UI?

Also, Vanemar has shore power monitoring built-in. I have a plugin that periodically pings a TP-Link kasa smart-plug on my local network. If there is AC power, the smart-plug is pingable on TCP, and the plugin sets electrical.shorepower.state. I have a node-red monitor that when that state changes, it sends me an email if the power comes on or goes off.

I just found that Saillogger has monitors, too, implemented with pushover. Can that be extended to monitor electrical.shorepower.state and other data fields, such as an intrusion alarm?

Hi @mshulman , it is a good idea. Adding notifications to custom monitoring data is already on our backlog and it should address this need.

The notifications page isn't very clear. There's a field for depth, for example, but there isn't text saying that the alarm will fire if the depth is less than that setting. But for wind speed, the alarm fires if the wind speed is greater than the number listed.

Also, the interval isn't well described either.
