📏 Choose Your Units, Measurement by Measurement

Knots for boat speed, meters per second for wind, feet for depth, and Celsius for temperature? That combination now works.

Saillogger’s new Units settings let you choose display units for each kind of measurement instead of committing everything to a single Metric or Imperial system.

Here is what is new:

• Set each measurement separately
  Choose units for boat speed, wind speed, trip distance, depth, temperature, tank volume, barometric pressure, and engine pressure.

• Mix systems to match your instruments
  Keep boat speed in knots while reading wind in m/s, depth in feet or fathoms, temperature in °C, and pressure in inHg. Use whichever combination feels natural aboard your boat.

• Keep the easy presets
  Metric and Imperial presets still set everything at once. Changing an individual measurement marks your setup as Custom, while selecting a preset again resets every measurement to that preset.

• See your choices throughout Saillogger
  Your selected units carry across maps, monitoring gauges, history charts, alerts, logbook views, trip statistics, and summary emails.

Nothing changed automatically for existing users—their previous display choices were preserved. Nautical units such as knots and nautical miles remain the standard in both presets unless you choose something different.
