We are thrilled to announce the release of Saillogger Plugin 2.5.0, featuring a highly anticipated new functionality: AIS Targets in the monitoring function!
With this update, you can now view AIS (Automatic Identification System) targets directly within Saillogger. This enhancement will provide you with comprehensive real-time data on nearby vessels, enhancing your situational awareness and safety on the water.
Key Features of AIS Targets:
- Real-Time Vessel Information: Access detailed information about nearby ships, including their position, speed, and course.
- Enhanced Monitoring: Monitor AIS targets seamlessly integrated with your existing tracking and logging data.
- Customizable Settings: AIS target display is enabled by default but can be easily disabled through the plugin configuration if desired. To adjust the AIS target settings, simply navigate to the plugin configuration in Signal K and toggle the option as needed.
