⛵ Introducing New Boat Types on Saillogger! 🛥️

We're thrilled to announce an exciting update to Saillogger: many more boat types! This new feature will enhance your Saillogger experience by providing a diverse range of vessel options and introducing vibrant new icons. Here's what you can expect:
️ New Vessel Types:We've expanded our vessel categories to include the following:
- Monohull Sailboat
- Sailing Catamaran
- Motorboat with Inboard Engine
- Powerboat with Outboard Engine
- Motoryacht
- Superyacht
If the vessel type is not explicitly specified, Saillogger will default to the configuration on your monitoring device, which uses the AIS ship type.
New Icons:To make your boating experience even more fun and visually appealing, each vessel type comes with a unique icon. These new icons will appear on your tracking and monitoring pages, adding a touch of color and excitement to your sailing adventures.
️ New "Boat" Section in Settings:With this update, we're also adding a "Boat" section to your settings. Here, you can configure your boat type and access important information about your vessel, including:
- Boat Type Configuration
- Monitoring Device Details
- Saillogger Plugin Version
- And more!
How to Access:To start using the new vessel types, simply update your vessel information on Saillogger. If no type is specified, Saillogger will continue to use the AIS ship type from your monitoring device.
