    Hi,
I am new to signal K and Saillogger, but a keen sailor and professional captain (HSC).

In saillogger temperatures for water and outside are shown, however they are not correct.

I have various Ruuvitag sensors onboard, and would like to get the temperature from the one in the cockpit as outside temperature.

    Is this possible?

    Best regards,
    Hanne

      Hi Hanne,

It is certainly possible, you can configure the sources for all your monitoring inputs in Saillogger plugin.

Sounds like you are on a Victron, just go to this page from your local network (or find your Signal K plugin configuration page) to make the changes. You will see option to specify the keys for:

      • Monitoring data source for water temperature
      • Monitoring data source for outside temperature
      • ...

Keys will for Ruuvi tags usually look like this: environment.venus.24.temperature but the numbers vary. You can go to Data Browser in Signal K and search for the keys you want to use.

Good luck and let us know if you need more help!

@Hannefjord We've just released a major update to this capability, making it much more easily configurable. Simply upgrade your Signal K Saillogger plugin to version 3.0.0 and visit your monitoring settings page. From there, you can select the sources you want to use.
