I am considering buying the yacht devices N2k gateway for my Yanmar diesel for my sailboat.

I'm particularly interested in logging engine hours and RPMs.

Are these data types supported by Saillogger?

You can certainly use them with custom monitoring, anything in NMEA2k/Signal K can be monitored with Saillogger.

That said, we are working on a much more integrated experience (imagine engine hours being part of your trip logs by default), but it is probably a couple of months out. First we need to install one on our boat and that will probably happen around June.

Very interested in this! I have the yacht devices N2K gateway as well, and would like to be able to log how much of a journey was motor vs sail, and starting and ending engine hours.

Hi everyone, we just released native support for engine sensors! They are now logged automatically, along with statistics for your sailing and motoring time. Check out the announcement here: https://community.saillogger.com/topic/142/saillogger-plugin-5-x-native-engine-logging
