    How are moorage names determined? and is there a way to create a new moorage name?

      Hello Jim. I’m not the one to answer how they are named ahead of time but changing is very simple. Once changed each time you revisit that anchorage it uses the new name you assigned to it!

      First click on the Log with that anchorage that you’d like to rename.
      Second click on the name to be changed and you’ll notice that you’re able to edit it in that field.
      Rename it then click Done and that’s it!

        Hi @jimholthaus, moorage name lookup in Saillogger is a multi-layer process. It uses four to five different types of logic to identify a moorage name, which can come from GIS sources, community-added moorages, or external references like Wikipedia.

        Moorages are created automatically, but once they exist, renaming them is straightforward as Kevin mentioned. Please let us know if you’d like any help with that.
