    Hi,

    I'm no longer receiving notifications of events from SailLogger. I have notifications turned on for email and phone.

    Also I don't see where to update email and phone number for notifications. Where are those settings?

    Hi John! Thank you for the message.

    Push notifications are sent via the Pushover App. Do you have the app installed? If you changed your phone or re-installed the software, you may need to re-enable notifications for the app. You can login to the app and the website and make adjustments as needed.

    E-mail notifications are sent to the e-mail address you login with. Just checked the logs and it seems the last two e-mails bounced back from Outlook/Microsoft. There have been some changes in this space, and more and more e-mails are being denied and bouncing lately. We just deployed a new feature today and you should receive a weekly summary e-mail delivered to you Monday morning. It is delivered through our new e-mail system which should avoid the bounce. Can you please confirm you receive it?

    We are gradually upgrading our e-mails to this new system and it should prevent the bounces. In the meantime, happy to change your e-mail address if you wish to use a different one. Please e-mail us at [email protected] from your existing e-mail with the new one, and we will be happy to make the change.

    Thanks for the reply. I didnt have the Pushover app active because the 30 day trial expired and I didn't know it would be required for phone alerts. The onetime cost of $5 for Pushover is fair enough so I just bought it and re-enabled it.

    For email, I'll go check server logs and see why those emails have been rejected. And, Yes, I'll let you know if the Monday summary email arrives.

    I looked at the Exchange logs for delivery and I don't see any failures or quarantine for *@saillogger.com senders. Perhaps the email notices are coming from a different domain. If you want to share the smtp failure code/description with me I can help figure out why I haven't been receiving emails.

    I did get emails from [email protected] for my community account creation.

    Looks like the IP address was banned, I will e-mail more details in a private message.
