new look Motoring bar

Please see attached screen shot of recent trip. Am I reading this correctly. The trip was a total of 2hrs 30 and the motoring was .7hrs . However the orange bar which I assume represents the trip and motoring appears to be the length of the whole trip ?

Hi @upstart , your interpretation is right but this looks good indeed. One thing that could possibly explain this if the engine had its power (i.e. the ignition on) during the sail. If the engine kept emitting engine hours but those hours were not increasing, Saillogger would think you would still be motoring.

Is it possible that was the case?

Power to the engine EMU is normally on, so yes engine hours would be transmitted but not increasing. I thought the software recorded the status as motoring when the RPM was greater than 0.

I think the EMU may take power from the nmea2000 network. So independent of the ignition switch, hence transmitting some data albeit 0 values.
