We are committed to keep making Timelapses better! We added a new feature to bring back more of your boating memories.
You can now see the names of moorages overlayed on your Timelapse as you move through them!
This is now the default behavior for all Timelapses but Timelapse customizer has an option to disable it in case you want it.
Combined with video exports, this takes the Timelapse feature to an entirely new level!
We're thrilled to introduce an exciting new feature on your monitoring and tracking page! 
You can now see select local attractions from Wikipedia that are nearby, providing your followers with more context and insight into your surroundings.
Historical Insights: Discover fascinating historical facts about your location, such as whether a famous explorer like James Cook once anchored in the same spot or if there was a historical settlement there. This adds a rich layer of history to your adventures, making each journey even more meaningful.
Targeted: To keep your user interface clean and uncluttered, we've limited this feature to a select few attractions only. Each highlighted point of interest is to enhance your boating without overwhelming you or your followers with information.
️ Easy Control: This feature is enabled by default, but you can easily disable it if you prefer a simpler view. Just go to the settings under the "Monitoring & Tracking" tab and toggle the option as needed.

Timelapse is one of our users' most favorite features. With our latest update, you can now export your Timelapses with the click of a single button! Go to any Timelapse and click the record button (red circle at the bottom of the screen right next to the play/pause button) to export the Timelapse you are viewing as an .mp4 file.
If you do this on an iOS device using mobile Safari, the downloaded video will go to your Files and not the Photo app. You can open it in Files app and send to the Photo app and then use it in social media applications.

Monitoring page is very popular and is widely used sharing live tracking for friends and family. So we wanted to make it even better!
Now it is possible to add notes and comments for your followers while you are underway:
All you need is to click on the pen icon you see on the upper right corner while underway. It will only show up when you are underway.
Comments you add will also show up as part of your tracks in timelapses.

In addition to satellite and OpenStreetMap layers, we also added a nautical chart option for maps. This is available in US waters only for now. If you are cruising the US waters, you can view your timelapse, trips, moorages, monitoring details, etc. on nautical charts! It is also now an option on timelapse customizer.
While on the topic, we want to extend our appreciation and gratitude to National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) for making navigational charts easily accessible. We wish the same will be true for countries other than the United States in the future.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Nautical charts are for visualizing your trips only and should not to be used for navigation and cruise planning.
