    Looks much nicer, thanks!

  • Depth measurement resolution

    Hello,

It seems like the depth measurement could use a little more resolution. It only displays in foot increments and is nowhere near sinusoidal in shape. The source is I'm using is environment.depth.belowSurface.
With a custom monitor using the same source I get the same results. Our boat has a draft of a bit less than two feet so a 1/10th ft resolution would be welcome.

ls this a setting that would be made in Signal K? I am two hours from the boat and can't look right now, but do hope to get there this coming weekend.

If it makes a difference I'm using a Cerbo GX mk2 and the depth gauge is an Airmar dst810.

    Thanks for any help,
    digger

  • Privately sharing with friends and family

    Hello,

It seems like I should be able to privately share my position and status to family and friends, rather than just through a public link. Is that correct? If so where and how do I do that? I just discovered the password protected public profile. Is that what I'm looking for?

Below is more info on my situation.

I'm new to Saillogger (SL) and Signal K, but not new to Linux and FOSS. Getting SL set up has been slow since I live two hours from our boat. After soft bricking the Cerbo GX I now have SL running and it is reporting to the app and SL website. The app/website is receiving the boat's gps position, wind, and environmental parameters. But, I have not yet had a chance to go out for a sail. Hopefully that will happen in the next two weeks!

Thanks for SL and any help,
    digger
